Dance Performance

Participated a dance performance on Sunday night,i took part in Japan dance (with Geta and pillow-like object at the back), Chinese folk dance and Malay dance. I didn't take my own photo...but still,here are some pictures to share with (some was taken during rehearsal)

The night before my 20th birthday

Today is actually Mother's Day. My mum is not at Kch now so I went to Cheese & Tea with a few of friends. Not much people coming to my birthday gathering...What to say,my birthday always come along with Mother's Day or one/two day earlier/later, most of them went to celebrate with their mummy. Anyway, i still feel happy because they are my super best friends! About the food,We ordered 4 kind of different tea (only have tea in the menu,i guess that is why it named Cheese & Tea) but they test almost the same,even the color also look the same. For the food, not much choices too, we ordered baked cheese rice,pizza,fried chicken with rice, tomato spaghetti and creamy carbonara pasta. Honest speaking...only the creamy carbonara pasta test not bad,others are really...not nice. At there,we spend quality time together, chatting...

Fantastic Make Up Competition

There is a Fantastic Make Up Competition at Kuching, most of the participants are from Perfect Image and Monica Academic. My sister start learning make up since Jun,last year. So...I went there as her model. The theme for this competition is The Seasons, participants can choose either one season and express the season out fantastically on the model face with cosmetics. Installation Night Banner---Done!!

Student Council members once again gather at school on a saturday morning,we are doing the banner for Installation Night'09,which held on 7th of May. Sound weird huh,like...we prepare the banner for ourselves.Anyway, the important thing is the process and i really enjoy in it...

Visiting Four Points Hotel

Today is UCSI orientation day for the Pre-U,Diploma and Degree students.As a member of UCSI Students Council,we incharged in ushering them while help up during the whole day. The most interesting for today is....visiting Four Points Hotel and have buffet lunch there. Other foods like sushi,meat,rice,xiao long bao...skipped. Lets talk about the desserts. In eatery, there provide a wide variety, eye pleasing, mouth-watering, unlimited DESSERTS!! Still alot that i dont have time to shot...

Ballet

The word BALLET comes from the French, derive from, Italian ballet or ballo, mean dance. Ballet is a type of performative dance. It can be dated to sixteenth- and seventeenth- century in French, and which later was further developed in England, Italy, and Russia as a concert dance form. Ballet composed of highly technical form of dancewith its own French vocabulary. It is usually performed with the accompaniment of classical music. Nowadays, it has been influential as a form of dance globally and is taught in ballet school around the world. Ballet dance works are choreographed (composed of a sequence of dance steps), and also include mime, acting, and are set to music. Today ballet is seen in many different forms. One sees modern ballets choreographed to very modern music, but many still prefer the traditional type of footwork in ballets like “Swan Lake.” Ballet interprets music through a variety of accepted movements.
